ABSTRACT
Intracranial pathologies can affect pituitary hormone levels whether they are primarily related to the gland or not. In deficiencies, size and location of may be normal, as well one more effects observed after hypoplasia, partial empty sella, ectopic neurohypophysis, Rathke's cleft cyst, adenomas other masses surgeries. early puberty, dimensions usually increased, rarely hypoplasia rathke cyst seen MRI findings. Non-pituitary cause especially single multiple deficiency.
this study, we aimed categorize patients with pituitary/cranial lesions hormonal pathology determine their frequency distribution in pediatric endocrinology clinic for ten years.
The data 485 patients, 186 (38.3%) male, were retrospectively analyzed. Their mean age was 9.3 ± 3.2 years. incidental lesion found 28 (5.77%) all cases. There no influence 20 (71.4%) them. most 454 cases disorders, (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) findings normal disorders (71.8%). common precocious puberty isolated Growth Hormone deficiency, 57.9% 26.4% respectively. (n=23, 5%) frequently accompanied by (39.1%).
hypothalamus-pituitary axis affected primary its own region, it a result cranial pathologies. Cranial evaluation is also important addition imaging disorders.

OBJECTIVE Endovascular treatment of wide-necked intracranial aneurysms is a challenge and the durability and the safety of these treated aneurysms remain unknown. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical and long-term angiographic results of wide-necked intracranial aneurysms treated with coil embolization. METHODS Between January 2002 and December 2012, 53 wide-necked aneurysms tre...
